In 1989, things were different in the American trucking industry. Our father, along with a group of professionals from the closing local Mason Dixon Lines, opened a trucking company called RSV, Inc. They struck a deal with Ligon/Ranger to contract a fleet of 50 tractors. Eventually, RSV signed on with Landstar/Ranger and continued running the fleet until 2015.

By 2015, my brother, Tyler and I had already joined the family business, and it was time for us to take a leadership role. We opened Special Transportation in June of 2015, taking on the staff and drivers from RSV, Inc.

Since opening, we have taken a special pride in our small business. Our clients are our freinds, and employees are family. Quality of service is important to us. When things aren't right, no one here faces a blank wall or automated message. We care about the needs of clients and employees.

The industry continues to change, and we'll be changing with it into the 21st century.
